In a recent meeting held on March 28, 2024, the Board of License Commissioners of Calvert County unanimously approved a Class B “ON SALE”, Beer, Wine & Liquor license for Shanice Johnson of SWJ Enterprises, LLC. Her vision is to introduce Coast 2 Coast, an exciting new dining experience set to open its doors in late April.
Coast 2 Coast aims to captivate patrons with a vibrant ambiance that combines live music, delectable crab dishes, and a charming outdoor dining area. Nestled upon a picturesque 0.25-acre waterfront lot along the Patuxent River, the restaurant occupies a spacious 4,800 square feet. The panoramic views and conveniently available boat slips will only enhance the dining experience for visitors.
While the approval of the license marks a significant milestone, Johnson’s plans are still awaiting the acquisition of a use and occupancy permit before Coast 2 Coast can begin operating.
